Trump To Host ‘Sound Of Freedom’ Showing

As his presidential campaign continues gaining momentum, 45th President Donald Trump has made another move that starkly contrasts the prevailing narrative of liberal media outlets. He has announced a screening of the summer box office hit “Sound of Freedom” at his Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, on July 19.

The film, directed by Alejandro Monteverde and distributed by Angel Studios, paints a heroic portrait of Tim Ballard, a former Homeland Security Department agent who made it his life’s mission to rescue children from the shadows of international trafficking. Based on Ballard’s real-life experience, these events have resonated with audiences nationwide, enabling the film to beat out heavy hitters like Disney’s “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” at the box office.

Despite the evident public admiration for the movie – indicated by a perfect 100% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes – “Sound of Freedom” has received fierce criticism from left-leaning outlets. Critics such as Rolling Stone’s Miles Klee have dismissed it as a “superhero movie for dads with brainworms.” At the same time, Charles Bramesco of The Guardian labeled it “QAnon-adjacent.” It appears, once again, that the left-leaning media is more interested in political posturing than in acknowledging the actual voices of the American public.

Despite the ongoing criticism, the film continues to thrive, grossing over $50 million since its release on July 4th. With Jim Caviezel, who plays the role of Ballard, alongside producer Eduardo Verástegui and Ballard himself set to join Trump at the screening, the event promises to be an unabashed celebration of American grit, determination and valor.

Trump’s team, announcing the upcoming screening, highlighted the former president’s significant steps to combat human trafficking. They made a point to mention Ballard’s support of Trump’s border wall, a project often misrepresented and criticized by liberal media, while in reality, a practical solution to curtail trafficking.

By hosting this screening, Trump is making a clear statement: despite the media’s efforts to deride and politicize the movie, the voices of millions of Americans who stand with Ballard, and by extension, with the victims of trafficking, will not be silenced.

In its relentless pursuit to taint everything associated with Trump or his supporters, the liberal media seems to have lost sight of the film’s premise: the courage of an individual devoted to freeing innocent children from trafficking.

Indeed, this screening is bound to ruffle feathers among leftist critics. Yet, in the grand scheme of things, it only reiterates Trump’s unwavering stand against human trafficking, his commitment to free speech and his dedication to the American people.
