Fox News political analyst Brit Hume has acknowledged that Joe Biden’s age isn’t a problem Democrats can hide anymore.
Speaking on the Fox News network during Super Tuesday’s news coverage, Hume said, “I have always thought the age and acuity issue was a ticking time bomb. I was saying when it was not at all fashionable to say it that he was senile. Now I think he is palpably senile and the country sees it.”
The remarks came just prior to President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, which is known to put a spotlight on his elderly infirmities. Humes’ remarks also reflect the questions on voters’ minds this election season, with many voters on both sides of the political aisle doubting Biden’s cognitive ability and fitness for office.
Brit Hume is right.
Joe Biden is senile, and it’s disgusting that his family and campaign allow him to continue.
Elder abuse.

A new poll taken by The New York Times and Siena College indicated that 73% of all registered voters believe that Biden is too old to effectively carry out the duties of his office. The poll also showed that for those who voted for him in 2020, 61% agree that he is just too old to responsibly carry out a second presidential term.
In contrast to Biden’s polling numbers, only 42% of all registered voters believed Donald Trump is too old to hold office. President Joe Biden is currently 81 years old, while Donald Trump is 77. Biden is already the oldest person to serve as president and would be 86 years old by the time he would hypothetically leave office in 2029.
On a Super Tuesday interview on SiriusXM’s “Mornings with Zerlina,” former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton brushed off these concerns and spoke of how Donald Trump “barely makes sense when he talks and “is dangerous.” She then encouraged voters to just accept Biden’s age and said, “Pick between your two old ones and figure out how you’re going to save our democracy.”
To state the obvious, on a world stage where leaders of opposing nations wish to test and try the resolve of the United States, having a president that appears to not actually be in charge due to his mental condition can leave the nation vulnerable. As international challenges and crises erupt, the head of the executive branch needs to be able to adapt and respond quickly. If the polling numbers can be trusted, it is clear that a majority of Americans share this view, leaving an uphill battle for the Democrats in the 2024 election.
