Elections carry with them consequences, and having Joe Biden in the White House meant at least four years of radical leftist ideology. His term coincided with the rise in artificial intelligence (AI), and the Democrat used an executive order to put his extremist stamp on the technology.
His administration is far more worried about “equity” and equal outcomes than any danger posed by AI.
Last October, Biden expanded the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Part of this growth was naming “Effective Altruism” proponent Paul Christiano as the head of AI safety.
This movement spread with the endorsement of none other than the disgraced Sam Bankman-Fried. It believes there is a break-even chance that AI will destroy humanity.
Other prominent backers include Facebook co-founder Dustin Moskowitz, who spent $50 million to get Biden elected. He and his wife Cari spearhead Open Philanthropy, which is linked to Effective Altruism and is spending lavish sums to support government control of AI.

Is it any wonder that the authoritarian Biden White House seeks government control over emerging AI technology?
Look back at the president’s Executive Order on Safe, Secure and Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence. Biden’s directive used a familiar document to declare that AI may “advance civil rights, civil liberties, equity and justice for all.”
Even more impressive is the wide array of fields that the White House believes AI will benefit.
They include global warming, opioid detection, healthcare, education, financial services, reducing prescription costs, housing, equal opportunity, curtailing justice discrimination and bias, advancing racial equity, labor standards, job displacement and a host of others.
Now consider that the administration seeks complete government control over AI. The same AI that will permeate, in its judgment, all of these fields and more.
Many conservatives are aghast at the thought of the federal government dictating restraints on such an innovative technology. They see the same handprints that weaponized federal agencies against ideological opponents manipulating the next major advancement.
If the White House is granted control, it can be certain that leftists will dictate free speech and the flow of information in the way they attempt to with social media.
And, at least the government believes, AI will be much more far-reaching.
