Musk Roasts Biden Over Attack On ‘Misinformation’ On X

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk is well-known for his biting sense of humor, and his response to President Joe Biden’s feeble attempt to attack him did not disappoint.

On Sunday, the Democrat joined Pro Publica’s John Harwood for an interview to discuss what they felt were dangers facing democracy.

After meandering around for a bit, both settled in on the day’s main course — an attack on Musk. The owner of X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, is apparently the root cause for the most severe threats to the nation.

Harwood threw out the first volley, asking about what Musk has accomplished at the helm of X. “Lowering the guardrails to misinformation, does that contribute to it?”

The hapless president of course agreed. “Yeah, it does,” Biden replied. He then noted that voters go online to get their news but have “no notion whether it’s true or not.”

How did Musk respond? By posting, “Lmaooo.” Simple and hilarious.

This is the same Joe Biden who has been skewered recently even by his leftist media partners for obvious lies that he repeats. Here’s an example which came up just minutes earlier in the exact same interview with Harwood.

Biden declared “When I left the Senate, I was able to convince Strom Thurmond to vote for the Voting Rights Act.”

There are multiple issues with this one sentence. Biden left the Senate in 2009. Thurmond died in 2003. And best of all, the Voting Rights Act was passed in 1965.

As hard as it is to believe, that was before Biden’s time in the Senate. So, if Harwood had cared to check, there are multiple reasons in that one statement that disprove what the president asserted.

No, the problem Biden and his cronies have with Elon Musk’s ownership of X is that they no longer own it. The narrative is now out of their control, and any number of opinions are readily available for the user to find and decide their validity for themselves.

The days of three left-leaning network news anchors are long gone. So are the days of every social media platform bending the knee for leftist Democrats and suppressing conservative voices.
