Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has been a hero to many professional wrestling fans worldwide for over two decades. He became a real-life hero Sunday night when he assisted a teenage driver whose car wrecked in Tampa, Florida.
According to his new wife Sky Daily, Hogan, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, was driving on the Veterans Expressway with her and a friend, Jake Rask, when they came across the crash.
The 70-year-old Hogan, along with Rask immediately leaped into action and went to the 17-year-old’s aid by popping the airbag, unbuckling her seatbelt and helping her out of the car before paramedics arrived on scene.

Daily took to social media and posted about the incident on Monday.
“Last night, after we left dinner in Tampa, we saw a car flip in front of us! I truly admire my husband @hulkhogan and our good buddy @jakerask for springing into action, puncturing the girls airbag, and getting her quickly out of the car,” she wrote on her Instagram account.
“By all appearances, she was unscathed, just really rattled, which is an absolute miracle!” Daily added.
Everyone expressed gratitude for Hogan and Rask’s heroic actions.
“We are just glad she’s OK, and God put us there at the right time,” said Rask, who is a Marine.
The accident occurred on Veterans Expressway at exit 2A towards Clearwater, according to Fox13.
The Tampa Police Department released an email on Tuesday stating that the teenager sustained only minor injuries from the crash. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
According to sources who spoke with TMZ, a car swerved to try to get to an offramp the driver missed, clipping another car in the process, causing it to flip over upside down.
Hogan also made headlines last month when he and his new bride strengthened their Christian faith by getting baptized in Largo, Florida at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church. Hogan and Daily recently got married back in September.

Hogan is retired from professional wrestling, but he proved that he could still spring into action, even at 70.
