The situation at the southern border has been perilous ever since Joe Biden took office in January 2021. But you wouldn’t know it by how Rachel Maddow, Joy Reid and Jen Psaki recently acted on MSNBC.
The ladies were quick to mock the growing border crisis that has led to growing hardships for Americans living during President Joe Biden’s disastrous time in charge.

Psaki was the first one to poke fun at the situation while the three were on air, saying, “I live in Virginia. Immigration was the number one issue.”
Maddow was all too eager to take another jab at the top concern for Virginia voters.
“Well, Virginia does have a border with West Virginia, a very contested area,” she said, laughing.
For her part Joy Reid, a Black woman, later jumped in and turned the discussion to race, something she has fallen back on for years.
She accused Republican voters of voting against their own economic interests out of bigotry toward minorities.
“They don’t vote based on economics, or based on the benefits they’re getting economically from the president. They are voting on race; they are voting on this idea of an invasion of brown people over the border, the idea that they can’t get the job they want.”
Joy Reid can cry ‘racist’ all she wants. After all, it’s a typical buzzword for people who are tone-deaf and out of touch with reality. But as for the facts, the majority of Republican voters, and a surprisingly big chunk of Democrat voters see the immigration crisis as a genuine problem. Simply put, people are tired of political gamesmanship. They just want someone to solve the issue.
Voters on both sides of the political aisle are alarmed by what’s going on at the border. They should be. Depending on who you ask, anywhere from 2.3 million to over 10 million illegal immigrants have crossed the border into the U.S. since President Biden took office.
Illegal immigrants crossing the border is certainly a problem. It’s foolish and arrogant to think otherwise.
But if the behavior of Jen Psaki, Rachel Maddow and Joy Reid is any indication, Democratic Party leadership has no intention of changing their strategy on the border. They are content to leave the border wide open. But they run the risk of losing everything. If they continue ignoring the wants and needs of everyday Americans, don’t be surprised if they lose badly on Nov. 5.
