The Pentagon has disclosed a “near miss” between a commercial airplane and a UFO near New York in its latest report on unidentified aerial phenomena. The close encounter, which occurred over the Atlantic Ocean, is under investigation by the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).
In this article, we use the term “UFO” not to suggest extraterrestrial activity in New York, but because credible evidence points to an unidentified object, physical or spiritual, originating from a U.S. or foreign government site, outer space, the ocean, another dimension, or a mystical plane.

Of the 757 cases analyzed, nearly 300 were identified as conventional objects, such as balloons or satellites. However, a significant number remain unexplained, largely due to insufficient data.
