Trump’s Final Rally Before Inauguration Hit By Disorganization And Freezing Conditions

Thousands of President Donald Trump’s supporters gathered in Washington, D.C. on Saturday for his final rally before he assumes office as the 47th president of the United States. Despite braving freezing rain, wind and snow, attendees faced disorganization that added to the day’s challenges.

The rally opened its doors at 11 a.m., with President Donald Trump scheduled to speak at 5 p.m. Supporters arrived early, enduring hours in the cold while waiting for their opportunity to see the president one last time before Inauguration Day.

Under Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s leadership, the event’s organization quickly fell apart. Long lines stretched through the city, with attendees left without direction as they attempted to navigate their way into the venue.

Police officers were stationed throughout the area, but their presence did little to help. Groups of officers were seen standing around, some facing away from the crowd instead of providing assistance to those struggling to find their way.

The weather worsened throughout the day, shifting from rain to hail before turning into a full snowstorm. Many families, unfamiliar with the city’s layout, were left to manage the treacherous conditions without guidance from law enforcement or event organizers.

Despite these obstacles, the rally saw an enormous turnout, with supporters celebrating President Donald Trump’s victory and standing firm in their commitment to his leadership.
