Trump Leads In Michigan, Wisconsin As Harris Fails To Gain Post-Debate Momentum

A new Quinnipiac University poll reveals that President Donald Trump is leading in the critical battleground states of Michigan and Wisconsin, putting him in a strong position ahead of the 2024 election. Trump has surged ahead in Michigan, gaining 50% support compared to Vice President Kamala Harris’ 47%. In Wisconsin, Trump leads 48% to Harris’ 46%, further solidifying his campaign’s momentum.

In Pennsylvania, the race is tighter, with Harris narrowly leading 49% to Trump’s 46%. However, Trump’s strong performance in Michigan and Wisconsin signals growing support for his candidacy in key areas that could determine the outcome of the election.

Voters expressed confidence in Trump’s handling of several key issues, including the economy, immigration and foreign affairs. On the economy, Trump holds a significant advantage over Harris, with 54% of Michigan voters and 53% of Wisconsin voters saying he would do a better job. Trump also led on other issues, such as crisis management and national security.

Despite media buzz around Harris’ recent debate performance, the Quinnipiac poll shows no post-debate surge for the vice president. Meanwhile, Democratic mail-in voting has dropped in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, indicating lower enthusiasm for Harris in these critical states.

With Trump leading in two out of three battleground states, the race is tightening and Harris faces the challenge of reversing Trump’s growing support if she hopes to secure a victory in November.
