Trump Blasts Biden Admin For Being Soft On China

Despite an economic downturn associated with a botched COVID-19 response that further oppressed citizens and forestalled a viral outbreak that is currently plaguing the country, China remains a global superpower with a strong influence around the world.

As former President Donald Trump proclaimed in a recent social media post, the communist nation is particularly wielding power in the United States under President Joe Biden’s leadership.

“CHINA OWNS BIDEN, and now, the USA!” he wrote on Truth social.

Trump’s post provided a stream-of-consciousness rebuke of his successor’s policies, citing recent remarks by a Newsweek editor.

He wrote: “Why is the Biden Administration so SOFT on China? ‘The problem the Democrats have with China is that they are soft on China from a domestic policy, jobs, economy, trade, point of view … something that President Trump really understood.’ Batya Ungar-Sargon, Newsweek Deputy Opinion Editor, on Maria B (Hey, what’s up with Newsweek? They are getting MUCH better. I guess they found out, like all of the others, that Fake News isn’t working – they’re all going ‘BUST’).”

The former president went on to indirectly allude to Biden’s motivation for reversing the tough policies implemented during the Trump administration.

An attorney suing the Department of Justice for relevant documents has asserted that the Biden administration is seeking to hide evidence of controversial and lucrative business deals that the president’s son, Hunter, and brother, James, have made with figures in multiple foreign countries, including China.

Kevin Evans’ lawsuit is requesting the release of evidence “pertaining to any relationship, communication, gift(s), and/or remuneration in any form” from such nations, which also include Ukraine and Russia.

Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has also been pursuing allegations of suspicious financial ties between China and the Biden family.

Referencing evidence his probe has uncovered, he said: “We have people with the Biden name dealing with Chinese business people that have a relationship to the Communist Party. I think it’s very concerning.”

Exerting its influence over the U.S. president and his family could play into the hands of leaders who want China to replace America as the world’s most powerful nation. Former Brookings Institute fellow Rush Doshi outlined that bold plan in a book released in 2021.

“At the global level, Chinese order would involve seizing the opportunities of the ‘great changes unseen in a century’ and displacing the United States as the world’s leading state,” he wrote.
