Texas AG Ken Paxton Introduces Tipline To Combat Voter Fraud, Safeguard 2024 Election

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched a new tipline to address concerns about illegal voting ahead of the 2024 presidential election. This initiative is part of Paxton’s broader effort to ensure that the electoral process in Texas is fair and secure, protecting the rights of legal voters.

The tipline, announced in a press release from Paxton’s office, encourages Texans to report any suspicious activities related to voting, including vote harvesting and false claims of citizenship. Paxton emphasized the importance of election integrity, particularly in the context of Texas’s growing noncitizen population and alleged partisan efforts to manipulate voter registration.

“There is nothing more important than the integrity of our elections,” Paxton stated. He assured Texans that any attempts to undermine the election process would be met with strong legal action. “I invite all Texans to report suspected violations at our new tipline. Your political liberties and your representation in our government depend on secure elections.”

This announcement comes shortly after Paxton’s office executed search warrants related to allegations of voter fraud during the 2022 elections. These actions reflect Paxton’s dedication to combating election fraud and ensuring that every legal vote is counted.

Critics, including Texas Senator Roland Gutierrez (D-TX), have accused Paxton of using the tipline to intimidate minority voters, specifically targeting Latino communities. However, Paxton’s advisory clearly states that the tipline is meant to protect voters’ rights and ensure a fair electoral process.

With Texas facing ongoing challenges related to immigration and border security, Paxton’s voter fraud tipline is viewed as a crucial tool in maintaining the integrity of the 2024 election and ensuring that every citizen’s vote is protected.
