SPLC Targets Babylon Bee Writers In Campaign To Silence Conservative Voices

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) is under fire for doxing anonymous writers at Not the Bee, a Christian news site affiliated with the Babylon Bee. The SPLC’s actions have been condemned as an attempt to suppress speech and intimidate those with differing views.

According to Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon, the SPLC published personal information about several writers, including their names and family connections. “They’re not acting as journalists,” Dillon said. “They’re acting as left-wing activists determined to silence those they disagree with.”

The SPLC claimed it was motivated by a desire to protect marginalized groups, accusing the writers of creating “hateful content” targeting transgender individuals and other communities. The organization stated that such content “has no place in our society.”

Not the Bee countered by arguing that the SPLC is dismissing the views of millions of Americans. “Are they saying the majority of Americans, who voted to protect children from gender ideology and enforce border laws, don’t belong in society?” the platform asked.

Critics see the SPLC’s actions as part of a broader trend of using intimidation to silence conservative voices. By doxing private individuals, the group has raised questions about its commitment to civil liberties and free expression.

This episode highlights the growing divide over free speech in America. For many, the SPLC’s tactics represent a dangerous escalation in the effort to marginalize dissenting opinions and enforce ideological conformity.
