Sen. Vance Questions Establishment’s Acceptance Of Trump Victory

As President Donald Trump gears up for a possible 2024 victory, Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) is sounding the alarm on whether the establishment — particularly the military — will accept the result. In a recent interview with Tucker Carlson, Vance shared his concerns about how much opposition Trump might face from entrenched forces in Washington.

Vance believes Trump has a strong shot at winning the election and feels confident about the prospects of a victory on Election Night or shortly after. However, when Carlson asked if Vance thought the establishment would accept Trump’s return to the White House, Vance didn’t hesitate to express his concerns.

The Ohio senator explained that while the ballot harvesting seen in 2020 was a major issue, there’s no evidence that anyone is controlling “the puppet strings” with total precision. Vance also suggested that incompetence plays a significant role in how these forces operate.

Vance’s biggest fear is not that Trump won’t win, but that, once in office, the establishment will do everything possible to block him from implementing key policies. Carlson questioned whether the military, which he implied has been taken over by establishment forces, would cooperate with a Trump administration. Vance responded, “That’s what worries me.”

One of the major challenges Vance anticipates is Trump’s potential plan to deport millions of illegal immigrants, which Vance believes will be labeled as “fascism” by opponents. He also highlighted that interest rates and the bond market could be used to undermine Trump’s presidency.

Despite these concerns, Vance is optimistic, citing weak polling numbers for Vice President Kamala Harris in key states as a sign that Trump is in a strong position.
