Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry (R-LA) has announced plans to fly a Make America Great Again (MAGA) flag at the Governor’s Mansion on January 20 to celebrate President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration. Landry made the announcement Friday on social media, urging others to follow his lead.
“BREAKING: Governor Landry to fly Make America Great Again flag at Louisiana Governor’s Mansion on Jan. 20 in honor of the Inauguration of President Donald J. Trump,” Landry posted. His call to action encouraged residents across the state to display MAGA flags in solidarity.
Landry’s announcement comes amid growing momentum for Trump as he prepares to retake office. The public display of the MAGA flag is expected to rally conservative voters and demonstrate unwavering support for the president-elect.
Elon Musk was right about what MAGA represents. This is nothing more than a Confederate Flag.
Jeff can keep playing these games and he will invoke this well-deserved, statewide strike–sooner than later.
MAGA DOES NOT CARRY THIS STATE.

This move aligns with House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) decision to fly American flags at full staff at the U.S. Capitol on Inauguration Day. Johnson chose to override President Joe Biden’s order to lower the flags in memory of former President Jimmy Carter until the day after the inauguration.
“On January 20th, the flags at the Capitol will fly at full-staff to celebrate our country coming together behind the inauguration of our 47th President, Donald Trump,” Johnson shared. He confirmed that flags would be lowered the following day to honor Carter.
Love it!!
