President Donald Trump has cut off security clearances for Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris, along with a lengthy list of others tied to past Democratic administrations and investigations targeting Trump. The move, framed as a national security measure, ends their ability to access classified information or enter secure government areas without supervision.
Trump issued a memo instructing all agencies to remove clearances and secure facility access for multiple current and former officials. The directive affects prominent legal figures, political rivals and members of the Biden family.

Others on the list include Antony Blinken, Liz Cheney, Fiona Hill, Alexander Vindman, Adam Kinzinger, Jake Sullivan, Lisa Monaco, Mark Zaid, Norman Eisen and Andrew Weissman. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and New York Attorney General Letitia James are also barred under the order.

The president said the decision was necessary to prevent further risks from those he believes may misuse sensitive information. His administration is now working to reduce influence from figures he described as part of the “deep state.”
Trump’s memo instructs agencies to notify private employers if any of the individuals held security clearance due to their current roles in the private sector, ensuring no further classified access is granted.
I really can't explain how relieved that makes me feel that President Trump pulled the security clearance from Hillary & Kamala. They both sold out Americans & women, in this US Vet's opinion.🙏🥳🙏

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard previously announced that several individuals mentioned in the memo had already lost their clearance earlier in March. Her review also covered the 51 intelligence officials who signed the 2020 letter about Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Trump has also moved to bar firms such as Perkins Coie and Paul Weiss from accessing classified material. The action against Perkins Coie was tied to the law firm’s connection to the Steele dossier. Paul Weiss reached a deal to avoid legal action and have the directive rescinded.
The president referenced Biden’s own 2021 decision to block Trump from receiving intelligence briefings. Trump noted that he is now using similar justification to cut off access for his political opponents.
