Country music singer Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, posted a video on Twitter mocking the mainstream media and Big Tech in their Halloween costumes, dressed as characters from the movie Anchorman.
In a spoof of the 2004 comedy posted just in time for Halloween, Jason Aldean plays Will Ferrell’s character Ron Burgundy and Brittany Aldean plays Christina Applegate’s character Veronica Corningstone.
The parody video comes after months of negative coverage of the Aldeans from the mainstream media — mainly consisting of attacks against the couple for their public opposition to transgender procedures for children. The country singer and his wife have also repeatedly mocked President Joe Biden and denounced vaccine mandates for students.
In the hilarious video, Jason and Brittany spoof the mainstream media’s attacks on them.
“In our most unbiased story of the evening, tonight we tell the tale of a wannabe country artist and his wife, Brittany and Jason Aldean,” Brittany says. “Apparently, according to Brittany’s recent tweet, she hates all animals, based on the tweet that says, ‘I love dogs.’”
Later in the video, the couple trolls Big Tech — suggesting that Google is purposely suppressing search results about them.
“Now most of you may not know who Brittany and Jason Aldean are, but if you’d like to Google, you can find them potentially on page five or six,” Brittany says.
“I actually found them on page 13,” Jason responds, adding that the couple simply needs to “zip it.”
Signing off the joke news broadcast at the end of the video, Brittany says, “Stay woke, everyone.”

Brittany Aldean received significant backlash from the left and the mainstream media in September after she condemned transgender surgeries for children in a series of Instagram posts.
“Advocating for the genital mutilation of children under the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender affirming care’ is one of the worst evils,” she wrote in an Instagram Stories post.
In a separate post, Brittany noted she was glad that her parents didn’t “change her gender” during her “tomboy phase.”
Jason Aldean commented on his wife’s post, writing: “Lmao!! I’m glad they didn’t too, cause you and I wouldn’t have worked out.”
After the media vilified his wife’s comments as “transphobic,” Aldean was dropped by his public relations firm.
