Democrats went to bed angry last night after Donald Trump made his much-anticipated announcement on his run for the 2024 Presidential Election from the infamous Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. His announcement was followed by celebratory cheers and chants of “U-S-A” from those in the crowd.

With over 63% of Republicans believing that the last election was stolen from him and only 28% of Republicans saying he should not run again, many have been chomping at the bit for him to have his comeback.
Trump’s announcement highlighted some of the positives of his last term; the state of the economy, world affairs, gas prices and border security.
Although Trump’s announcement was expected from all parties, opponents of Trump promptly began their temper tantrums.

In a more civilized temper tantrum, Rep. David Cicillinewent (D-RI) went into defense and began passing a letter among House Democrats to attempt a stop to Trump’s run by invoking a constitutional amendment.
Nicholas Wu, the congressional reporter for Politico, tweeted shortly after Trump’s announcement that “Rep. David Cicilline (a former Trump impeachment manager) is circulating a letter to Dems rounding up support for legislation to bar Trump from office under the 14th Amendment, per copy I obtained”

In short, within minutes of Trump’s announcement, the Democrats began their attempt to bar Trump from running on the grounds that he engaged in insurrection and rebellion on Jan. 6.
Not only are the Dems already in congressional action but they seem to have their media machines ready to fire as well. The Washington Post posted this article late last night with a loaded and lengthy opening.
“Donald Trump, the twice-impeached former president who refused to concede defeat and inspired a failed attempt to overturn the 2020 election culminating in a deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol, officially declared on Tuesday night that he is running to retake the White House in 2024”, it read.
Before Trump had even finished his announcement, President Biden ran an attack ad filled to the brim with twisted propaganda that targeted the former president.
All systems are a go to dismantle Trump’s comeback run for the 2024 Presidential Election.
