Homan To Lead Crackdown On Illegal Immigration At Worksites

Tom Homan, President Donald Trump’s pick for “border czar,” pledged Monday to reinstate workplace raids as part of a broader effort to combat illegal immigration and trafficking. Homan outlined his strategy during an interview on Fox & Friends.

“Many trafficking victims, especially those in forced labor and sex trafficking, are found at worksites,” Homan said. He emphasized that workplace raids will play a key role in protecting victims and dismantling trafficking networks.

Homan also accused the Biden administration of losing track of over 300,000 smuggled children. He blamed weak enforcement policies for allowing cartels to exploit the border and endanger children.

The incoming border czar vowed to target sanctuary cities, warning that ICE agents will operate in these areas regardless of local resistance. “Sanctuary policies won’t stop us from doing our job,” he said.

While some activists criticized the plan, arguing it could harm vulnerable groups, Homan defended the raids as necessary to disrupt criminal operations. He stated that the focus will remain on traffickers and criminals.

Homan’s appointment highlights the Trump administration’s renewed commitment to strict border enforcement. His strategies are expected to reignite debates over immigration policy and state cooperation.
