Harris Campaign Secures Support From RINOs In Push To Win Over GOP Voters

Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign is working to attract Republican voters, leaning on endorsements from prominent RINOs, including former GOP Reps. Adam Kinzinger of Illinois and Liz Cheney of Wyoming. Jimmy McCain, the son of late Sen. John McCain, has also joined the group of Republicans backing Harris over President Donald Trump.

These figures, widely regarded as Republicans In Name Only (RINOs), have long opposed Trump’s leadership, making their endorsements a significant piece of Harris’s strategy to appeal to moderate Republicans and Independents. The campaign has launched a “Republicans for Harris” initiative, aimed at creating a broader coalition of disillusioned GOP voters.

“We are proud to receive support from across the political spectrum,” Harris campaign spokesperson Ian Sams said. “Vice President Harris stands for the Constitution, freedom, and American values, which resonate with many voters.”

Meanwhile, President Trump’s campaign has received support from former Democrats like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard. Trump spokesperson Karoline Leavitt mocked Harris’s reliance on RINO endorsements, stating, “No true conservative would ever back Kamala Harris, who stands for weak-on-crime policies and open borders.”

Harris’s outreach effort to Republican voters is a key part of her strategy to challenge Trump in the general election, but whether these RINO endorsements will sway a significant portion of the GOP base remains to be seen.
