EPA Administrator Targets $20 Billion Biden Sent To Climate Organizations

The Biden administration moved $20 billion in taxpayer funds to an outside financial institution in a move designed to bypass government oversight, according to EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin. Now, Zeldin is working to recover the funds and bring them back under government control.

Zeldin stated that the money was allocated with “reduced oversight” in a rushed effort by Biden’s EPA officials. A leaked video from December featured an EPA staffer admitting that they were trying to distribute the funds as quickly as possible before the Trump administration could take office.

The EPA’s National Clean Investment Fund distributed the money to eight climate-focused organizations. The Climate United Fund, a recipient of nearly $7 billion, has connections to Biden’s environmental policies and has emphasized racial equity in climate financing.

Another major beneficiary was the Coalition for Green Capital, which received $5 billion to operate a national green bank. The group is linked to multiple left-leaning organizations, including the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the AFL-CIO.

Zeldin has called for the financial agreement with the bank holding the funds to be immediately terminated, demanding that the money be returned to the government. The EPA will coordinate with the Office of the Inspector General, Congress, and the Department of Justice to investigate further.

Since taking over the agency, Zeldin has also halted a $50 million environmental justice grant and ended media subscriptions totaling nearly half a million dollars. He has promised a full review of all spending to ensure taxpayer money is not misused.
