Elon Musk has entered the political fray once again, this time warning that the Democrats’ immigration policies could result in a “one-party state” in America. The Tesla CEO took to X to argue that the Biden-Harris administration is expediting citizenship for illegal immigrants, especially in key swing states, with the goal of creating millions of new Democrat voters.
Musk claims that even a small percentage of illegal immigrants becoming citizens could shift the balance in battleground states. He cited Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Arizona as examples of states where the influx of new voters could make future elections unwinnable for Republicans.
In his post, Musk stated, “If Trump is NOT elected, this will be the last election,” suggesting that without Trump, the Democrats will dominate the political landscape. Musk believes that the U.S. would effectively become a one-party state, similar to California, where he argues Democrats have held uncontested power for years.
Many Republicans share Musk’s concerns, particularly as the border crisis continues to worsen under the Biden administration. Conservatives have long argued that Democrats see illegal immigration as a way to change the nation’s demographics to their advantage.
While some may view Musk’s warnings as extreme, they have struck a chord with many on the right who worry about the future of U.S. elections. With the 2024 election approaching, the conversation around immigration and its potential political consequences is unlikely to die down anytime soon.
