Conservatives Preemptively Denouncing The Return Of COVID-19 Restrictions

Amid the possibility of COVID-19 mandates and restrictions coming back, some conservatives in Hollywood are already announcing their intention to never wear a mask again.

Recently, the New York Post reported that Hollywood studio Lionsgate has reimplemented mask mandates for nearly half its employees as cases of the pandemic increase.

“Employees must wear a medical grade face covering (surgical mask, KN95 or N95) when indoors except when alone in an office with the door closed, actively eating, actively drinking at their desk or workstation, or if they are the only individual present in a large open workspace,” Sommer McElroy, the response manager for Lionsgate, announced.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, actor Kevin Sorbo had no trouble indicating what he thought about the mandates, the Blaze reported.

“I’m not wearing a mask. You can stay home if you don’t feel safe,” Sorbo declared.

Sorbo is not the only person fed up with the COVID-19 mandates we all thought had ceased to exist.

Morris Brown College, located in Atlanta, Georgia, recently announced it would be implementing a mask mandate.

“I’ll go to jail before I wear a mask!” conservative commentator Graham Allen posted, responding to Morris Brown College’s announcement.

“We don’t have to wait and see if they impose mask mandates again. If we say NO like we should’ve done in the first place, and refuse to comply, the mandates mean NOTHING. It’s actually up to us, not politicians,” conservative commentator Liz Wheeler wrote on X.

Unlike Sorbo, Hollywood actress Lee Curtis recently posted a picture of herself wearing a mask. She encouraged people to wear one when required or when they are in a public area.

“And we’re BAAAAACCCCKKKK. No, not Michael Myers but masking will be. COVID is on the rise. SO MANY friends now are really sick. BE MINDFUL. WEAR A MASK if required or even if you feel unwell and are out in public spaces,” Curtis said.

Dr. Jordan Peterson issued a rebuttal of Curtis’s comments that were included in an article, where he insisted that individuals who want to stay home should stay home, but that the rest of the world should be left alone.
