A new report from the House Judiciary Committee, titled “TERROR AT OUR DOOR: HOW THE BIDEN-HARRIS ADMINISTRATION’S OPEN-BORDERS POLICIES UNDERMINE NATIONAL SECURITY AND ENDANGER AMERICANS,” has exposed significant national security risks at the southern border under the Biden-Harris administration. The report reveals that between fiscal years 2021-2023, 250 illegal aliens on the terror watch list were encountered at the border, with 99 being released into the United States.
The report details a case involving eight Tajik nationals with potential ISIS ties. Three of these individuals were released after using the CBP One app to schedule appointments at ports of entry, highlighting critical vulnerabilities in the vetting process. Additionally, the report points out that an immigration judge granted bond to a potential terrorist due to insufficient access to classified information, raising concerns about systemic issues within the immigration court system.
Jake Schneider, the Rapid Response Director for the RNC, criticized the release of these suspected terrorists, describing it as “criminal negligence.” The Trump-Vance campaign has also targeted Vice President Kamala Harris for her role as border czar, arguing that her policies have jeopardized national security.
The revelations in the report have sparked a renewed debate over the administration’s border policies, with increased calls for measures to strengthen national security and prevent further lapses.
